Chapter 9 - Kingdom on the New Earth

After one thousand years of Messianic reign on the regenerated earth, the vindication of the divine nature will be complete. Thus, the spatiotemporal heavens and earth will have fulfilled their purpose.

God will then re-create the heavens and earth as promised. “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered or come to mind” (Isaiah 65:17; cf., Isaiah 66:22). The Apostle John adds, “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away” (Revelation 21:1). The divine re-creation of the heavens and earth will make them suitable once again for existence within the eternal, holy kingdom of God.

The new, eternal heavens and earth will constitute a proper habitation for God to enjoy the immediate presence of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Thus, the faithful from both the nation of Israel and the Gentile nations will rejoice together in the ever-present reality of life shared with God in His kingdom and the enjoyment of His glorious nature manifested in fullness of Spirit and truth.

The kingdom of God manifested in the new, eternal heavens and earth can be briefly summarized as follows:
