"...there is...no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death" (Romans 8:1-2).

As you have already realized, your journey is not without complication. Therefore, you must prepare for battle.
Recognize that you will not be called to fight with earthly means but a weapon that is divinely powerful. It will provide for you to, “…be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might” (Ephesians 6:10). If you have received Jesus Christ you have experienced a new or second birth. In contrast to your physical birth, it is spiritual. Consequently, the King of kings and the Lord of lords lives within you by His Spirit. He is the source of incomparable power. The living presence of the Christ within you is evidenced by the attributes of His life. Although you are indwelt by Christ in fullness, the Apostle Paul mentions only three of His attributes; truth, righteousness, and peace. They are relevant to the topic of spiritual battle. In case it hasn’t already become clear, the life of Jesus Christ in you is the full armor of God. Thus, He is your protective armor. God has generously gifted you with the means to access His life in you. Take up the shield of faith! It is the instrument God has provided to trust in the incomparable power of His life within you. In addition, take up the helmet of the hope of His salvation. It will comfort you when the battle gets tough. Unwavering, divinely provided hope will sustain you in the battle. Finally, pick up your sword, the eternal truth of God’s word. Respond to the “evil day” with the word of God that is specific to Satan’s particular scheme. Concordant with the gracious gifts of faith, hope, and the word of God, you have direct access to the incomparable power of the life of Christ within you. He is the protective armor that allows you to “stand firm” against every scheme of the devil in the heat of spiritual battle. The devil does everything he can to keep you ignorant about the ultimate weapon for spiritual battle; Christ in you, your heavenly, living armor. Therefore, he constantly encourages you to trust in worldly or fleshly weapons. It is because the devil knows they will never permit you to stand firm in spiritual battle. Stop trusting in worldly or fleshly weapons and trust in Christ alone. He is your only source of victory in this present darkness. Understand that if you continue reading “The Real New Testament Church” there will be opposition. The enemy does not want you to serve any role in the reformation of the church to New Testament standard. If you have the faith to continue reading, “put on the Lord Jesus Christ” and stand firm (Romans 13:14). Read carefully and prayerfully while you trust in His armor, characterized by incomparable, living power. |

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Romans 8:31-35)

"Unveiling early church doctrine and practice, “The Real New Testament Church” provides the direction necessary to reform the church to New Testament standard and design. Consequently, it examines fundamental church doctrines such as kingdom and covenant; law and life; works and grace. It reveals the original function, form, purpose, mission, and manifestation of the church on earth. Further, “The Real New Testament Church” explores the life of the church, its divine calling, the relevance of the “kingdom of heaven” parables, church composition, the critical importance of women, and more.
Corresponding with its exploration of early church doctrine, “The Real New Testament Church” investigates the original practice of the early church. Therefore, it discusses topics of relevance such as church governance, the application of both apostolic teaching and tradition, the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, giving, and church growth. “The Real New Testament Church” also furnishes an in-depth discourse on spiritual warfare, church reformation, and many other matters of practical importance. “The Real New Testament Church” provides a view of the church largely unadulterated by religious tradition, organizational strategy, and cultural influence. Therefore, it offers solid answers to questions often left unanswered by traditional theological systems. |
